FDA Warns About Risks From
Mesh for Pelvic Organ Prolapse Surgical Repair
The FDA has issued a safety communication warning for health care providers
and patients cautioning that the surgical placement of mesh used to correct
pelvic organ prolapse may expose patients to serious risks.
